Application and Principle
1. The metering and dosing of boiler feedwater in power plants (adding ammonia, hydrazine, and deoxygenation agents) involves adding 1-5% ammonia solution (about 1-2 μ g/L) to the feedwater (or condensate) system to neutralize free carbonic acid and increase the feedwater pH value to the specified range (8.5-9.3) to reduce corrosion caused by carbonic acid and oxygen at low pH values. Adding hydrazine to the feedwater (or condensate) system is the process of adding an appropriate amount (20-50 μ g/L) of hydrazine (0.1-0.3%) for chemical deoxygenation, while maintaining the reducibility of the boiler water to prevent oxygen corrosion and deposition of metal oxides in the furnace.
2. Add water quality stabilizer or sulfuric acid to the circulating cooling water, add acid to the supplementary water of the circulating water system to reduce alkalinity, convert the carbonate hardness in the supplementary water to non carbonate hardness, and control the carbonate hardness of the concentrated circulating water below the limit value to achieve the purpose of scale prevention. Adding stabilizers can increase the ultimate carbonate hardness of circulating water to prevent calcium carbonate scaling and avoid the formation of calcium sulfate scaling due to excessive sulfate ions caused by simply adding acid. Some stabilizers also have corrosion inhibition effects.
3. Measurement of adding phosphate to boiler water (low parameter boilers eliminate residual hardness in feedwater, high parameter boilers are used to adjust boiler water pH).
4. Add fungicides, coagulants, reducing agents, pH regulators, and other chemicals to the pre-treatment system of the supply water to eliminate microorganisms, organic matter, suspended solids and colloids in the raw water, oxidants in the water, and excessive acidity and alkalinity in the water, in order to ensure the needs of deep treatment of the supply water.
5. During the chemical cleaning process, add cleaning agents, corrosion inhibitors, solubilizers, and passivating agents to the cleaning solution and passivating solution.
