1、 Introduction:
Oil cooler is a commonly used oil cooling equipment in power systems, and is also suitable for sectors such as metallurgy, chemical industry, mining, light industry, and heavy industry. Mainly used for circulating cooling in equipment lubricating oil, transmission system oil, turbine oil, and grinding kerosene oil systems.
At present, the domestically produced oil coolers are all of the same model, and after years of practice, this type of oil cooler has many disadvantages; Large size, poor cooling effect, complex sealing, and difficult maintenance. A new type of oil cooler developed by our company has the characteristics of good cooling effect, outlet oil temperature close to water temperature, simple structure, easy operation, and small volume.

The new oil cooler produced by Lianyungang Huaneng Power Auxiliary Equipment Company has a simple structure, easy maintenance and disassembly, reliable sealing (oil and water isolation structure), small volume, and high heat transfer rate (outlet oil temperature and water temperature are relatively similar).
1. The heat transfer efficiency is 2-3 times higher than that of plate type oil coolers;
2. Low oil resistance: Due to the use of a swirl guide plate, the oil enters in a tangential flow, which is beneficial for fluid operation;
3. Long service life, easy installation and testing: The thermal expansion stress of the heat exchange tube is small, so there is no common problem of heat exchange tube expansion and leakage. As it is still a shell and tube structure, installation and maintenance are convenient.
4. Using argon gas shielded welding instead of traditional expansion joint structure to eliminate leakage.
5. Oil water isolation adopts an unsealed structure to completely eliminate the phenomenon of oil-water phase mixing.
6. Adopting a new form of heat exchange, oil-water relative operation, and utilizing the principle of liquid heat being light and cold being heavy, thereby improving heat transfer efficiency and achieving similar outlet oil and water temperatures, generally>2-30 ° C. At the same time, the outlet oil temperature can also be regulated using cooling water valves.
7. Due to its advanced structure, there is no need to install exhaust valves in the upper water chamber, and the operation of Huaneng electric auxiliary equipment is simple.
8. Easy maintenance. Due to its advanced structure and lack of oil and water seals, the upper and lower water chambers can be disassembled for easy cleaning, making disassembly very convenient.
4、 Selection of oil cooler:
When choosing an oil cooler, the cooling area and other parameters should be informed:
1. According to the form of cooling pipes, there are LY type light pipe type (commonly used) and LYC type fin type.
2. According to the material of the cooling pipes, they are divided into three types: carbon steel, stainless steel pipes (TP304, TP304L, TP316, TP316L), and copper pipes (T2, HSN70-1, H63).
3. According to the structural form, it can be divided into fixed tube plate, floating head, and U-shaped tube heat exchangers.
4. The heat transfer area can be selected from 0.5 to 500 square meters.
5. According to the installation form, it can be divided into two types: vertical and horizontal.
