Secondary filter screen
1、 The purpose of the secondary filter:
The secondary filter screen is one of the main equipment in the circulating water system of the condenser. It is used to filter the cooling water, remove impurities that may block the tube plate and cooling pipe in the water flow, and ensure the normal operation of heat exchange equipment such as the condenser and its rubber ball cleaning device. When the cooling water is mixed with debris and passes through the system, the debris is blocked by the small hole filter on the upstream surface of the filter. After being purified through the small hole, the cooling water enters the condenser and is backwashed by the backwashing device and the drain valve in the filter. The water flow flows in the opposite direction, and the debris stuck on the inlet surface is backwashed out of the mesh by the water flow and led out by the drain valve. As long as the purification filter keeps working, the cooling water entering the condenser will always be clean, and the resistance of the filter will not increase.
2、 Characteristics of secondary filter:
1) The mesh driven gear is isolated from the circulating water, and the lubrication system adopts a fully enclosed form, so the gear is no longer worn or eroded by impurities such as cement sand.
2) Eliminating the drawbacks of complex and prone to faults in the transmission system of old-fashioned secondary filters, it operates safely and reliably, and is easy to maintain and repair.
3) It can remove debris with strong adhesion, further improving the performance of the secondary filter.
