1、 Purpose:
It is used for filtering water in cooling water systems and other water pipelines in industries such as thermal power plants, hydropower stations, steel smelting, petrochemicals, printing and dyeing, and papermaking. It has the characteristics of interception and discharge, and is an advanced and reasonably priced cleaning and filtering device. Its price is equivalent to one-third of imported similar equipment. Due to different water sources from rivers, lakes, and seas, there are various impurities in the water, such as industrial waste, floating grass, fish and shrimp, snails, etc.
Industrial rotary backwash water filters are divided into manual rotary backwash water filters, electric rotary backwash water filters, fully automatic backwash water filters, and filter screens. They are widely used in industrial manufacturing and production, such as circulating cooling water systems in thermal power plants, hydropower stations, petrochemicals, steel smelting, printing and dyeing, papermaking and textile enterprises, as well as in heating network water systems and other water supply pipelines.
Before the pipeline of the water supply system, a filter screen is usually used for treatment. However, there are still some small-sized impurities in the treated water quality, such as small particulate suspended solids, sediment, snails, etc. When they accumulate to a certain extent in the water supply system and are not cleared, it will lead to a reduction in the flow area, ultimately resulting in blockage and, in severe cases, shutdown, posing a great threat to safe operation. Therefore, it is necessary to install secondary filters on large-diameter pipelines and industrial water filters and purifiers on small-diameter pipelines for internal cooling circulating water.
2、 Performance characteristics:
1. Structure and performance characteristics of manual water filter:

(2) Performance characteristics
① The structural design is reasonable and easy to use and maintain. The mesh core is a movable mesh core that can be disassembled for cleaning, replacement, and other work, making it easy to use and maintain.
② The water has strong purification ability and high precision in filtering impurities. The minimum size for filtering impurities is 1.5mm, and the filtering accuracy can be designed according to user requirements.
③ The flow area is large, with a flow rate of 3-3.86, which increases the interception capacity and reduces water resistance.
④ The use of negative pressure recoil (or pressure recoil) principle for sewage discharge is fast and effective, reducing the loss of industrial water.
⑤ The water resistance of the filter screen is ≤ 350mmH2O.
⑥ This type adopts an imported PLC programmable control system, remote control, and is designed with a pressure difference online monitoring system. The equipment also has manual, timed, and automatic cleaning functions.
⑦ The design is innovative, consisting of four parts: filter, brush, barrier, and row, ensuring the smooth flow of the stainless steel mesh core and a long service life.
3、 Working principle and operating program:
The inlet of industrial water filters enters from the inside of the mesh core, and debris adheres to the inner surface of the mesh core. The mesh core is divided into 4-8 small chambers. During operation, when a small chamber rotates directly above the discharge outlet, it is in a relative static pressure state. When the discharge valve is opened, the outlet pressure of the discharge valve is atmospheric pressure. At this time, there is a certain pressure difference in the small chamber, causing the mesh surface to be flushed by backflow from the outside to the inside. The higher the working water pressure of the system, the greater the negative pressure in the water chamber. All the debris attached to the inner surface of the mesh core is backwashed away and discharged with the water flow through the lower sewage outlet. The actuator drives the mesh core to rotate at low speed, and with the low-speed rotation of the mesh core, the backflow can enable the entire mesh surface to be cleaned repeatedly, achieving online operation.
This filter can be operated in a timed manner based on the current water quality situation, which means that the equipment is temporarily cleaned once every shift (4 hours) before leaving the factory. During each cleaning, the top actuator of the equipment is rotated to drive the mesh core to rotate (1 circle), and the number of rotations of the mesh core can be determined according to the site conditions to maintain normal operation.
When the filter screen filters out impurities and the mesh core becomes dirty and the water resistance increases, requiring cleaning, open the drain valve and rotate the actuator to drain. When the mesh core is clean and the water resistance drops to a certain value, stop the drain operation and close the drain valve. If the differential pressure does not decrease and continues to increase, stop running and close the drain valve for maintenance. Open the filter screen and remove the mesh core for cleaning or replacement.
4、 Scope of use:
1. Suitable for pipelines of DN1600 and below.
2. The water filter (with a filtration precision of 0.5mm~8mm) is suitable for the internal cooling water system of the generator and the turbine oil system, eliminating the hidden danger of accidents caused by the breakage of old-fashioned filter cloth.
3. The structural forms include: A, low inlet and high outlet type B, high inlet and low outlet type C, oblique insertion type D, inlet side outlet type, etc., which can be designed according to on-site requirements.
